Whether you are offering canine or feline support, providing short term fostering care for one of our existing animal beneficiaries, chatting to visitors at an event, or are guiding us as a Trustee, when you give your time as a volunteer you are helping people and their companion pets to stay together.
For every person and pet that Rosie’s Trust supports, we need at least four volunteers who work in conjunction with each other so that volunteering fits their own routine. Our volunteers are the beating heart of our charity, and our work of keeping people and their pets together simply couldn’t happen without them. Our volunteers come from all walks of life – and all tell us their lives are enriched by giving something back through helping a fellow animal lover who is going through a difficult time.
When you become a volunteer, we will provide training to build your confidence and knowledge and offer ongoing support throughout your time as a volunteer. Following training you’ll be matched with a suitable pet and owner, who you will support. You’ll know that you are making a real difference to the lives of people and their pets – because they will tell you!
If you’d like to make a difference, and join our team, then please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or use the Contact Us page and we’ll send an application form. Please note that volunteers need to be aged 18+
