Thanks to the gentle patience of her Rosie’s Trust volunteer, little Belle has had the courage to venture outside her home!
When we met Belle, she was so nervous and frightened that she wouldn’t go out or approach anyone apart from John McGarrigle, our wonderful volunteer, but with time and kindness she’s learning to trust and we’re overjoyed that she’s been out of the garden for a short sniff walk.
It’s going to be a slow journey and there may be setbacks, but this is what Rosie’s Trust is all about – being with a person and their pet to provide what they need to have a better life together in their own timescale.
We’re now building Belle’s team so that her little world will expand and she can relax and enjoy life.
