Come join us for a fun-filled doggie day out on Sunday 2nd June 2024 to raise much needed funds for Rosie’s Trust.
Can’t make it in person? No worries, you can still take part virtually and we will post a much sought after matching finishers medal for you and your furry friend.
For the in-person event, we will meet at the Fountain Centre, Queens Parade, Bangor to sign in and for a pre-walk briefing at 12.45pm.
The walk will be 3 miles long in total, from Bangor along the beautiful coastal path, towards Carnalea Golf Course where we will then turn back.
We will have refreshments for both humans and pets back at the Fountain Centre. All finishers will receive a much sought after ‘Rosie’s Ramblers Finisher’ medal which comes with a matching Dog tag style medal for the furry friends.
This event will coincide with ‘Volunteer Week’ (3rd-9th June) so why not use this an an opportunity to come along, meet our team to find out more about volunteering opportunities, we will be at the Fountain Centre from 12pm.
The notorious ‘Sea Bangor’ weekend of activities celebrating Bangor’s Maritime Heritage will also be going on in the area, so many a reason to get to Bangor for the day.
Rosie’s Trust is the only charity in Northern Ireland that is dedicated to caring for our beneficiaries’ dogs and/or cats in their own homes, when they are no longer able to. We depend on donations to cover our service costs, and every penny gifted to us is carefully used.
Please help us to keep people and their pets together!
Carparking is directly facing the centre.
Toilets available at the centre and also along the route in the Pickie Park.
Walk 1.5 miles along the coast taking in some of the beautiful sights along the way before turning back.
