Rosie’s Trust supports people who are receiving cancer treatment, end of life care, or elderly people with a disability.
We know how important that very special bond is between people and their pets. They bring so much emotional support and comfort to their owners especially if they are facing illness and isolation.
We know how difficult it can be to give up a pet companion. The people we support often face the heartbreaking decision of giving up a beloved pet because they can no longer provide the care they need.
That’s why we support people and their pets – helping them hold on to each other when they need it most.

Macmillan Cancer Support estimates that the number of people living with cancer in Northern Ireland will increase by 40% by 2030 and with Northern Ireland’s ageing population, even more people will need our support.
Our work has been made possible thanks to the National Lottery Community Fund and donations from people and businesses who are passionate about keeping people and their pets together.
